Our second project was my first experience with typesetting. The first piece I put together felt like a bland magazine spread. I liked a few things I did with it but, overall, it just bored me. It really was just a typesetting exercise and nothing more.
I decided to do another version of the project that was more appealing to the eye. To MY eye anyway... This second piece definitely has a more artistic feel to it and feels more like an advertisement than a magazine spread. It uses a more inviting color scheme and the flow of expressive text and artwork draws the viewer in and makes them want to know more.
